I wouldn't have a platform without it. Order it now.

I asked the marina if they could put one on but they told me that with the texture on the platform and swim platform they wouldn't recommend it. My question is what do people do? The look and the feel is something we want. Thought's and Help would be appreciated.
That's BS. All of the decks and platforms have that dimpled surface. Order the kit for your boat and install it yourself. It is SUPER easy.

Line it up, tape one side down, peel off the back, stick it down, flip up the other side, peel the back, stick it down. Done. I did the deck and platform as well as the walk through on my last boat and current boat in 30 minutes or less, prep time and all.

Just make sure the surface is clean and stick it on. Easy Peasy

Lol. I want to know what manufacture makes a smooth swim deck. Someone would slip and slide that manufacture to a lawsuit.

Has anyone ordered a setup for a 2018 220S? I want to install one but I was wondering if someone already had. Would love to see pictures of it. Might also save me the time of templating it myself if Seadek already has the template completed from a previous order.

Gordys told me that to add the mat to the swim platform, they would somehow "grind" or sand down the dimples in the swim platform before they stuck it on. Does that sound right? Is it necessary? Or can you just stick it right onto the dimpled platform?

Thanks!

No way man. Don't grind that down. Mines on year 2 still looks new. Plenty of us have it on and no issues. Buy it and slap it on and be done with it. You won't regret it for a second.
