I made the trip over with the pack, not many people have a 22 footer anymore  been a long time since I've been over on that end of the lake, now I remember why, it's like an ocean. It's like two different lakes, pulling back into the Shell Knob area, it's much more on the calm side. I got some food, swag bag and headed out, me and my 22 ft dingy don't belong over on that end unless it's a weekday

It was nice meeting ya'll, safe travels home! :)

There was ytmsn and wife, Matt and wife, Big Block and Team Nautie on my boat. Bfun was there with his own banana boat. And of course tgrace was there because this is his home lake! (Lucky dog!) And over the week we met up with gdane and fun2fish. Then yesterday we met sheruffdeputy and his gang along with whitelightning. I'm sure I left someone out, and sorry if I did. Right now my brain is still clouded with the smoke from the car bombs...

Last night was a blast! The band we listened to at dinner turned out to be the same guys that played the Regatta!

We met some new friends there, and Matt tried his best to get us into trouble. I'm sure there may be some incriminating photos show up, but I'll just go ahead and deny any wrong doing right now. Those photos are "staged "

Jeesh, having fun will wear a guy out. I can't imagine what it would have been like with Tusc, A7 and Liquid here! I guess next year we'll find out?

Now to load the boat and make the trip back to reality. 😥

It was a awesome week. Thanks to Yt and Tgrace98 for being great hosts and letting us come along for the ride. Matt and Lisa, Nauti's and Gdane, bfun, great to see you guys again.

Yeah yesterday was a day I was glad to have the r7. I just cruised at 30mph and bounced around. Wasn’t to bad for me.

This end of the lake only gets like that on holiday weekends. Normally it’s 1-2fters at the most.

Fun to finally meet you. We all need to do it again!

Ok Liquid and A7.... we have a year to get it figured out.
Towing an R7 from NY to TRL is a perfect justification for a F450 purchase. Just saying.

What fun you guys had.. So happy the weather was great!. I wish the rest of us could have been there with the crew..Hopefully next year will be easier to get away. New puppy, new deck construction that took forever, and wedding showers, another trip to DC.. then the wedding...and then a kitchen remodel planned.😩🤪..all of that distraction from boating fun comes to an end this fall. All of this in one summer...😭😭

Team Nauti is safely back in Kentucky, and before you ask YT and BBP Mr. Nauti drove the entire way, backed in the driveway all by himself and everything lol.

We had a great time. Great seeing everyone and huge thanks again to YT and TGrace for putting up with driving us around for two days!

We made it home too.

I forgot to mention Andrew and Stephen. And there are probably more that I cant think of!. A huge Thank You and shout out to Andrew for putting the Classic Cruise together. That was amazing running down the lake at 50 mph with those guys!

Matt and BB and I decided the baddest dudes of the weekend were the two guys driving this boat.
20190726_104231.jpg
They would cut across the wake wide open, darting from one side to the other in and between boats, going from front to back. On the Classic day the guy was up in the tower the whole time! These guys have nads...

For those of you that did the factory tour w/ us - dude driving the boat was Alex, the older gentleman who talked to the group for about an hour before we walked through the factory. I spoke to him a bit, the photo boat is on its second engine, its got a 454 /w open exhaust in it right now. YT is right Alex can drive a boat.

I pulled the photographer that rode on the upper platform aside after the classics cruise. Saying it was choppy during the cruise was an understatement, TGrace got splashed at the helm of the R7 while we were in the back of the pack, I cant imagine what the photo boat was cutting through. Guy taking pictures said it was no big deal he had total trust in Alex.

I think both of them are crazy.

I'll go thorough my phone more tomorrow night. Relaxing a bit now. But last night was awesome.
We learned a new dance I think Wed night at the lakeside bar. This mid 70 year old gentleman taught us this. Yes you had to be there. T this picture is for you.
A7 you can fix the link. Thanks.

Here is is again. Just imagine standing on the upper platform holding a camera with a lense a foot long shooting pictures while the crazy man underneath you is crisscrossing wakes from all those boats running 50mph in formation.

And more random shots from the weekend

In past pictures Matt saw that I was missing a center cap on my truck, and he brought me a new one! Talk about a stand up guy! That was pretty special. Thanks again Matt!

Then on Saturday night everyone else had gone to bed and Matt and I wandered around looking for new friends at 1 AM and found some! But yeah.. another story.
