Cobalt Family

I have been using this site a lot lately and realized I never formally introduced my self and my boat. I recently purchased my first Cobalt a few months ago and can honestly say its the nicest boat I have ever had. I have recently been a Chaparral owner with my last boat being a Sunesta 233. I have always dreamed of having a Cobalt but never really looked hard for one. While visiting my boat mechanic this spring he showed me a 2002 Cobalt 262 which had a brand new crate motor (8.1) and after seeing it I bought it on the spot. After several trips to the lake there is no doubt why everyone loves these boats so much. So I am now a Cobalt fan for life and want to thank everyone who has been so helpful on this forum. Hopefully I can return the favor!

Hello from the Denton area. That white is so classy. I'm also new to the forum and I've been learning a lot. I was looking at two 262's - a straight 262 and a WSS. Both sold before I could fire off any questions or view them in person. That was the only other model that I would consider besides the R5. It sounds like you are happy so far, so I will be watching for more on how it does in the near future.
