Steve, I’m glad you hopped on here and shared the pictures. I have to say it was a pleasure to meet some of you from Cobalt Chat, and wish I could have met the ones I missed. We had so much fun, and it was humbling that ladies and gents with brand new boats enjoyed it as much as we did. We already have a lot of energy for next year and several folks committing to next year that couldn’t make it this year.

That ride from Indian Point to Campbell Point put me on a high I’m still riding. What an incredible time with incredible people.

Awesome pictures and a huge thank you to Andrew and Stephen for pulling this off! Guys, Steven (Lockey, on the right in the last photo) drove 22 hours to be at this event, and the first half was in the rain. That's dedication!

And yes, we really enjoyed Friday much more than Saturday. Both days were cool, no doubt, but seeing all the Classics and more importantly cruising down the lake with them was really special. And of course, meeting Pac and getting to set across from him while eating lunch was pretty neat too.

BB asked him which model was his favorite and I loved his answer.

"All of them."
Well he couldn't just blurt out "The 190 Obviously!" in front of all of you. Imagine all the hurt feelings.

Yes. Everyone would be so sullen they'd pack up and go home.

Andrew was kind enough to hire a drone guy and have a short "promo" film made. Came out awesome and gets me pumped every time I watch it! Enjoy!

He was a fellow Cobalt classic owner who passed away in January. One of the "founding fathers" of getting the classic regatta started. So we wanted to honor him and keep his memory alive. There is a picture of the write up on him further back in the thread, hopefully you can read it. I will see if i can get the plain text version.

The entire weekend was a blast, but being a part of the Classic Regatta was pretty special! Looking forward to next year.

Wow, what a great tribute and a great event. I have to admit, I LOVE the lines of the pre-Condurre Cobalts. Thank you for the video and pictures, pure eye candy. What's the cutoff to participate in the classic event?

And Lockey, how long did it take you to get from MA to Table Rock? That's quite a trip!

Techie. There really isn't a cut off. Up to the day of the event. It was fun we were all talking offline on slacker. Lockey was moving he caught up to me I caught up to bfun. It was fun. I think it was around a 26 hour straight rain filled drive with the classic.

My wife and I will definitely be going again next year and looking forward to it! We enjoyed the Classic event as much as anything! I'd highly recommend anyone thinking the same needs to get it on the calendar. It's the 24th and 25th of July but we'll probably get there on the Tuesday before. I know BB and Tgrace and Bfun will probably be there about the same time. BB and I are looking for places go rent now. We should have a big 'ole CC meetup! It's a ton of fun! I'm thinking Matt and Lisa from California and the Nauti's from Kentucky. Who else is coming? 😁
