This fits my 2008 272... can't verify your 2013 242.

Okie are these for the new style bug lights or the old tried and true Stainless version?

I have the older white housing style, and I think they're another bulb altogether. But wow, what a difference LEDs make!

I have the stainless steel housing, so that's all I can speak to. Seems odd that they would
use different bulbs, but you never know...

Looked up your post when you put your LED's in, and yes, you are correct.
The bulbs are different, depending on whether you have the stainless housing
or the white one. May be differences in other model years as well... so all I
can say is the MR16 bulb above fit my 2008 272 with stainless docking lights.
