I have tried to attach these to the poles for both bow cockpit and mooring cover but the round attachments on the pads are larger in diameter that the poles ?? Any other suggestions ?

When I got mine I had the same problem, but it was only slightly larger by a mm or two. I removed the "ball insert" from the part that goes into the pole, placed the part that goes into the pole in the pole, then I wedged the "ball insert" in the plastic piece and slammed it down on the concrete until I knew it wouldn't come out, lol. Worked like a charm for the last two years.

This says a lot about the way I operate in general, now that I think of it...

Sorry for all of the highly technical terms for the pieces, haha!

Hi this is Kate. I throw something in a boat during the build just so you guys have something to talk about. Not a Radar detector pad. Keep guessing!!
