Hey Imrandz. Welcome to the CobaltChat forum. So glad you found us!
Any Cobalt's in your arsenal? We would love to see pics if you do have any....or any other brands you've owned. Feel free to start an intro thread only if you have the time.
Again, welcome aboard mate!

If I was busier I wouldn't have the time for this much. But right now for another month or so most of my days are free. It's definitely not free, but for me it's worthwhile for now.imrandz wrote: Fri Dec 13, 2019 10:25 am dude , how much you spend in overall to get all things done ..radio , speakers , engine tuning , bimini, platform , your work , hours .. been there few times and never ending story , but kudos to your enthusiasm

Got all the manifolds and risers done finally today. This high temp thread sealer is by far the best I've ever used. I highly recommend it if you need to seal any threads. Make sure to wipe up the excess.
I can confidently say that these are now better than new factory manifolds. The o threads were literally all done wrong.

I also highly recommend these brass elbows instead of the stock ones which are plastic.
And the brass plugs as well, fat superior to the stock plastic ones.

Nice imrandz. You keep her in nice shape. Thanks for posting those.
Btw, did you tint the windshield with the slight blue hue or is that factory?

Re: 1999 Cobalt 232 restoration
I wouldn’t use MDF on a boat. My buddy put a similar sub in his Stingray and used the back to back port seat base as the box. Sub pointing out the port side, can’t even see it and sounds awesome.baktasht wrote: Tue Dec 10, 2019 6:47 pmOh ya. It's a big boy. I'm trying to decide what to use for the enclosure material. So far I'm looking at either fiberglass, HDPE, or bedlined MDF (sealed enclosure for sure). A lot of it also depends on where I end up mounting it.Big Block Power wrote: Tue Dec 10, 2019 6:14 pm That's a beast you need to power the crap out of that. 1000w amp.
Glue that box up good.
