And yea really bummed about the weight. was hoping it would have been closer to the R7 or A28 size/weight...

has Cobalt ever had a model where they started with single engine and then offered twins a couple years later?
it would take a complete redesign to fit twins at this point.
Why do you say that? have you seen the hull up close?

Man, that stupid triangular window really ruins the lines of the hull, IMHO.

I'm with you Mark. A bunch of other manufactures use that stupid window too.
Maybe with the lines matching up with the water line will act as a extended hull.

Any boat with twins and a 9ft or smaller beam and a walk thru transom you have to step over the motors to get to the transom like Matt’s 282. Or another away they can do that is to stagger the motors like what donzi does.

Id be ok with raising the hatch and removing the walk thru if it meant having twins lol. put a teak center strip down the sun pad and id be happy.

plenty of room for twins in there :D

9’ beam can fit doubles. Hope they don’t market this outside inland lake customers, because there is no way I would go out in big water (gulf, Great Lakes, etc) with a single screw.

So looks like the LOTO dealer already got their first A29 in stock. Interesting that they put the R series electric folding arch on it instead of the hard top.

SO much better with the R tower!

And it looks like there is a filler cushion for the head, a triangle one maybe?

I'm hoping they bring it to the STL boat show first weekend in Feb. If so I will take plenty of pictures.

wow, I know anyone buying this new wouldn't bat an eye at that but knowing I could have one custom made for 1/5th the price of that would probably make me pass on it...

that 1k is list price. So knock 20-30% off that. I would say that would be hard to have that made with the same material to match for less than 700 bucks. I'd have to see how big it is but for that kind of money I would want everything to match.

The filler cushion over the head should be standard. Who wants to share a day cabin with a toilet? there had to have been a better solution that this.

It may come in handy after a long night of lemonades.😂
