Unicorn 263 anyone?

seems too cheap to me. The teak needs to be refinished and a few other things but the right motor for sure.

I wouldn’t call that a unicorn. The engine size is a start though.

Ha. Good one TG98. May just be the lake effect snow getting me this AM. But let me explain.

Those 260 series with the pickled fork arch are a little rarer but no unicorns.

The trifecta option selections on the 260 series that are very rare are the 1. 496MAG HO (or blue series engine w/B3  (I've only seen one))... 2. EXTRA extended swim platform...and 3. STAINLESS wake-board arch for towing. These OEM items cannot be duplicated easily in the aftermarket world without great expense (if at all).

Now to make it a unicorn, add the Captain's Call, Trim Tabs, Transom Cushions, and Cockpit Heat options to the trifecta above. These items can be duplicated but some not as easily (ie cushions & heat) as others.

BTW, if you are fortunate, you might even catch a glimpse of one with the stainless wrap around windshield option (Samurai33 has one). :)

...and that my friend is a 2000-2007 260 Series Unicorn that so rarely can be seen in the boating wild. 8-)

Myself and I think the point here too was.
A Unicorn=something rare.
1- filler cushions.
2-A factory wakeboard tower removed or to be removed for sale
3-A swim platform removed for sale.
4-A cobalt brand chainsaw used to remove a 360 tower🗼😂😂

Ya. Just wanted to differentiate between rare and unicorn (pretty much nonexistent). This goes back to when I first posted about the 260 Unicorn 🦄 series here. 8-) We have first hand knowledge of a real unicorn hunt.

That being said, the chainsaw post is unique in itself. ....It’s a whole nutha’ type of unicorn 🦄 sighting.

I'm going to have to agree with you.

My feeling on the use of "Unicorn" on CC refers to a 260 (series) with a horn (that dope factory arch) with appropriate power plant and most importantly... cushion fillers.

Unicorn always stuck with me because of the "horn hunt".

I get the gist of referring to something rare as a Uni and how that could be confusing if you weren't around CC when all that was happening (or if you're BB).

I suppose we should anoint some other mythical beast for when we find something niche... like anything with a blue in the back... maybe a "Squatch" or some such.

For me though, clean 260's with the arch and a plant and a filler.
