Order is placed and there's money on the table now, so I guess it's real...

For the record, here's the final spec. You'll see I took most of the advice you offered.
VP 280C DP
Navy Blue, yellow swim platform sides
Bimini
Bow and cockpit tonneaus (the mooring cover didn't seem like it would work with valet because of the straps)
Garmin 7607 GPS
Recessed logo (which seems to be standard even though listed as an option)
Docking lights
Flagpole
Sof-Trac swim platform
Bow center cushion insert
Sea grass cockpit
Dual battery
Transom tilt switch

I feel good about the order. We're tentatively expecting May delivery but should know for sure in the next few days.

Thanks again for all your help.

Very nice congrats. Seeing that you are not trailering you don't need the straps that hang down? It just pulls right under the rub rail. I would think that would still work.
Much easier than using all of the snaps when really all your trying to keep out is dust. Or not sure if Westland makes them for this new of a boat. I would check into that option. You just want to slide it on and pull it off. Simple. You won't need to use all of the support poles.

I have fender flips. I like the fender clips. I see no negative to them. I also have 4 additional Sentry Fenders by mission that I mount to cleats to have added protection. The CS22 is a wonderful boat. Congrats on the purchase!!

I'll agree with practically everything the folks above mentioned. The second battery is a must. The 280 is probably plenty for you, and I was highly impressed with the power when I test drove a CS22 with the 280.

Go for the seadek on the swim platform. After I installed it EVERYONE commented how much better it felt and the kids slip way less than when it was simply non-skid. Even the ladies in the group rave about how comfortable it is just sitting with their legs in the water. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Just keep it clean with degreaser.

Yes I'm sure just washing your boat use the same soap on the seadek will be fine. I bought the special dek cleaner and really it works but not sure it's any better. I wouldn't use anything harsh on it. Also be careful if you use a pressure washer as that could get under it and start to loosen up the edges.

agreed, I would go far as to say DON'T use a pressure washer.

Mild soap and a soft brush is what I use.

Sorry all — I haven’t been on the forum lately. There have been too many other things on my mind, or what’s left of it... It also didn’t help that notifications of thread posts all went to the spam folder.
Delivery date: I have not heard a word since February. It was supposed to go into production April 15th, but that was February’s reality., not April’s. I’ll keep you updated as I learn more.
I’ll get back to paying attention here, but my heart isn’t exactly in boating at the moment. However, I know this, too, shall pass.

I heard August 22nd. Don't worry the launches are closed anyways.

“Worried” I am not. In the grand scheme of things, a new boat isn’t my highest priority.

Did a wot test this weekend. Full tank of gas, tower Bimini top open. Hit 47 mph. Pretty darn fast IMO for 240 HP. Just thought I would share.

You’re right on the mark. My old 21’ with the 260hp Merc would hit 48 with the right prop.
