What a guy😁
I'm glad he's got it dialed in and he doesn't have to play around with it anymore. Did you get the Marzen ear plugs. His ears are sensitive.

Very true. Doggy shades are cool. Just good luck getting him to keep them on.

Nauti, Do you have any pictures of your Amps or speakers installed? I think I am going to install all JL Audio in my boat and our boats are very similar. I'm thinking about buying 2 JL M600/6 amps, 6 M6 in boat speakers, and 2 JL tower speakers. Did you mount your amps on the lower half of the board in your boat. Seems to me that will be the easiest place. I have taken the boards out and just trying to get familiar with what is there. Seems like a lot of unused wiring. Also, When I add another battery, can I just run the negative from the house battery to the negative of the starting battery? I'm sure I will have more questions for you about setting up these 2 amps. TIA!

I am working on installing a JL Audio M700/5 in my 2012 232. Mounted to the port storage bulkhead with 1/4" Starboard backing. This is the top half - hopefully keeping it above stowed items that get tossed under the seat. This picture is out of the boat but mocking up wiring to ensure wires pass through the cutout. Installed a new headunit, helm remote, stern remote, and speaker wires as well. Eyeing new speakers next season to finish out the upgrades :)

Ooops - didn't realize I could host directly on the forum! I jumped through hoops to try to embed the picture
I've had the boat about two years - it's been great!

Looks great KO! I am thinking about mounting my 2 JL M600/6 amps to starboard material also. I just ordered all my JL equipment from Creative Audio. I still need to order all the cables, wiring fuses. etc. I am adding a second battery, battery switch, with ACR also. Anyone else have any Amp mounting pictures or advice?

BBP (or anyone else with firsthand experience) - after having your WS system for a few seasons, what feedback do you have?

I'm trying to formulate a plan for my stereo upgrade and am having a hard time making a decision. Basically looking at six 6.5" coaxial and a 12" sub. I generally am pretty biased toward high quality products sourced and manufactured in the good ole USA (JL), but I really like the WS head unit and folks seem to swear by the speakers. I have never heard them played in person.

If you had to do it all over again, would you go WS or JL?

I love the wet sounds head unit too. I will put one in one of these days. I think jl and Ws are diff in sound. I really want to get mine and Nauti's next to each other.
Is amazing how the source makes a big diff in sounds quality. Mrs Nauti never heard of a CD but I can tell you it makes a world of a diff on my system. The big problem when comparing also is the head unit. I'm not a huge fan of my Sony in sound quality. Maybe it's just me. I shouldn't judge it till I put another one in. Plus you can tweak these systems so much to your liking it's not funny. So again each system is so so diff.
I think JL has a crisper cleaner highs.
I personally don't like the looks of jl's equipment so I would yes stay with WS. That's another dumb reason I know.
Other than looks would I do it again yes. I like WS connectors better. I think they're spiders are better, I like they're leds better. I like the subs. I don't use half of what the subs capable of doing. It's only a 10 inch. Not sure I would need a 12 inch sub. But hey bigger is always better right.
This has to be one of the hardest to answer questions. They are both so good.
I really need to jump in my car and head to Dale Hollow.
