Welcome from California with a 282!
That is sharp in Dark Red ( maroon/ Burgundy).
Tell us about your maiden voyage! Is this your first with twins? Do enjoy spinning her around in a dime yet?
We need your Captains report.
Your area is epically picturesque so share some lake shots!
Looking to hear and see more !

Hey jr. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!
Those 282’s are one of my favorite models. The twins really push them nicely and maneuver it so well.
She looks to be in great shape. Thanks for posting pics! How many hours?
Any pics of those engines? Gorgeous boat my friend.
Again, welcome aboard mate!

Welcome. Great boat. How do you say that city in English

What part of Canada is that by? Just kidding.
It's Amazing the beauty of Idaho . Such a under rated state. I think we all should head over there this summer.

Congrats on the new to you 282. She looks like she's in fantastic shape! Did you purchase from Hagadone? That's where I got my 272 last year.

Re: Hi from Coeur d Alene
The maiden voyage was awesome last week. Went for an evening cruise to watch the super moon rise over the mountains. My first twin and have definitely not got used to the extra knobs and control. My last boat (many, many moons ago now) was a 1985 Cobalt 19' so this is quite an upgrade. Boat has 290 hours and is in terrific condition. I bought from an individual. It's been serviced by local dealer (Hagadone Marine Group) since new spending the summers in a covered slip at the CDA Resort marina and in a climate controlled indoor facility in the winter. Hope to use it a lot this summer and am glad for the lower price of fuel although it was $4.39 a gallon and she was thirsty!
Thanks for the kind words and for the member's help I have already received.

Nice one!
Big thing for me years ago with my first twin was just practicing.
Find a rubber buoy in a clear 5mph and play with opposing forward and back gears to spin and understand your true center axis. ( duo props have more forward thrust.)
Then go put all your fenders on and practice docking over... and over .
Once your sensory for tank style driving is natural you’ll never use the steering wheel to dock, or depart.
Have fun!
