Oh I'm not worried, and in no hurry at all. The right one will come along and it will either happen or it won't!

Excellent Ytmsn.

Great attitude to have.

Bow, two other questions:

1. Is it necessary to have a trailer?

2. What are your distance constraints?

I'll need a trailer and it depends on the deal as far as distance. Obviously the closer the better, as I'm not a "ship it" type, more of a "go get it" kind of guy.
But if the right deal comes along it really doesn't matter.

Probably the only thing I don't like about a 262 is it looks like the seats in the front are stationary. They don't pivot around do they Aslan? We like to turn both seats backwards when we are anchored and just hanging out.

.
There are two seat options for the 262/3. An option for a swivel bucket exchange was available but I have only seen maybe one with that option and would not recommend it as the Double wide helm seat and bolster's are the perfect height (the swivels look tiny and get swallowed up by the size of the 262) and are very comfortable.

Dont let the seats hold you back on the right one as Aslan stated

We like how stable the double wide seats are.. lift up bolster. swivel seats are always.. swiveling if that's a word when driving as the tend to rock and feel loose .
We sit side saddle when at anchor with 4 or more in the back and its comfy as you are part of the "u " shape sitting .

It seems all the good Boats are back Midwest to east coast.I have flown to alot of places to be disappointed but its a small price to pay in this expensive.

At a about $1.20 a mile for real Shipping once you find the right one... Fly in.. touchy feel.. then Survey/Inspect .

My last Two Boats where Ohio and Arkansas.. So When I figured Taking of work. road trip with fuel and hotel it was a wash in $$ to fly there and just have it shipped.

That's a great find AJC. She is exactly the 262 for which Ytmsn was lookin' .

Unfortunately that boat sold on 15 August...the day after YTMSN called.

Although, who knows, maybe the seller will back out!

Keep lookin' my friend.

Saw another one in NH with a 525 mercury racing engine in it. What r the chances that they r still available. I wish boattrader would take down the boats when they were sold

Yes...saw that one too.

Unfortunately, you cannot get the Bravo III duo prop with the merc racing engine. That was a deal breaker for me.

Well, it can be easy if your timing is perfect :-).

Unfortunately, it seemed that my timing was off continuously for three years.

I have a better feeling for ytmsn.

Thanks AM, I actually called this guy... the day AFTER he sold his boat. He's a wholesaler and buys cars for several dealerships in his area. We spoke the same language and he would have been a great guy to buy from.
