R30 where are you putting your boat name?

Post by Richard L »

I was wanting to get some ideas on where people were putting the lettering for their boat names on the back of an R30? We have a 2020 and it sure doesn't look like there's a lot of open spaces.

Not that I would recommend it but I've seen people put it down the whole side of the boat 😂😂🛥️

Most remove the r5,6,7,30 from the transom area and put it there.

On our R30 we have our name on the transom between the speakers.

My R5 is a 2014 and the rear speakers weren’t an option.. :( so here’s what I did.

I just purchased a 2020 R5 surf and I am registering with the Coast Guard and need to put the name on the boat. Struggling on what to do because the only options is to put between the two transom speakers and will need to remove the R5 badging and possibly the Surf badging which I would prefer to keep. As I understand, the boat name text will need to be 3 inches in height. Has anyone taken off the badging to fit the boat name?

Just took delivery of my R30 a couple of days ago and the dealership intentionally left off the R30 badging on the rear to leave room for the boat name. There's definitely not a lot of room to work with back there.

I have the same question on an R3 Surf—just no room for a name with the badging (that I don’t really want to remove). Anyone do something creative?
