That's crazy that gasket would do that.

The extreme one in the video looks like part of an impeller on the one end.

I had and impeller come apart in a 502 fresh water system.. plugged my oil cooler with same result..

Little pieces can be the worst..

With this boat I will periodically lean down in back and spot check the exhaust flow idling to see the flow from the CC.. .

By the way a water pressure sensor would show good to high pressure off the pump outlet . Makes it hard to find.. once your flushed and clear.. golden!!

Yes, Marine tech said no codes came up and water pressure was good coming from the pump.

I like the second half of your quote.
We are hoping to be golden tomorrow and the water "pees" freely thru the engine and out the CC!.

Well the saga continues.

Ran with laptop connected. Mercury program during 35 mph run showed ECMT (exhaust cylinder manifold temp) spike of 193 and momentary water flow loss then alarm for limp mode.

Pulled boat out of water.

Installed new impeller.

Launched boat

Got worse! Now overheat alarm 3 minutes after startup.

Take raw water pump off again to make sure impeller is installed correctly. Yes.

Reinstall

Notice smallkink in hose from outdrive to raw water pump. Cut 1" off since hose being too long was causing kink.

Install muffs and test. No water flow out back of boat. Something is blocking somewhere. Heat exchanger is clean and water flow from it is weak.

Monday will check water flow from pump.
If good, will move on to checking oil and power steering coolers. That's all that is left !

Only takes more $$$$$

I feel for you. You were so pumped to get this boat and waited for it to arrive to only have this still going on. I hope the two coolers show something. I'm sure they will. I'm praying for you. This is the wrong kind of garage boating you want to be doing.

Hang in there. Once your finished you'll know the cooling system is perfect. You'll find the problem.
