360 and the Stable is FULL

Post by Holy Smokes »

So, I've been rather quiet this winter/spring so not to jinx the whole deal.... As most know, somewhat reluctantly, over the winter I sold my 343 (it's headed to Lake Travis) and then ramped up the search for a 360. Looked over several boats and but this one, which kinda fell in my lap, was in amazing condition and with all the right options and located right here at LOTO. Worked through inspections and closed the deal back in late Feb, but couldn't move the boat to our dock until Ameren raised the lake level a bit. Finally, got it done and to say the least the stable is FULL. Backing skills will definitely be put to the test.

Oh, and a name change is definitely in order!

That's a tight squeeze! Beautiful boat, certainly better layout for entertaining than the 343, but I did love those blue motors!

Looks great! How does it feel on LOTO compared to the 343? We've been contemplating upgrading from our 302, just not quite enough boat for weekends at the 19MM.

Side note, I have been out on Lake Travis with Tgrace, super cool lake but the water was down like 50 or 60' when we were there. Docks were sitting up on dry hills with boats still in them on lifts. One of the craziest things I've ever seen

Looking good Smokes! Where you at on LOTO? The only reason I ask if you have quite the protective cove there which is a good thing for your dock and boat on that lake. My parents have a place in Osage by the 22 MM. They have a view out to the main channel but they are a good 200-300 feet from the mouth of the cove and the no wake buoy and they still lots of wave action at their dock. Or at least more than they care for.

Hey there is a 64' Azimut for sale in LOTO right now for a mere $1.4 MIL. Pretty sure I've seen it out on the lake at least twice. She takes up ALOT of dock space at restaurants but no one will out wake you!

We're at the 41MM in a cove. It's not no-wake, but the only wave action we get is primarily from tubers, wakeboarders and the god-awful wakesurfers.

Depends on how you drive it. If you get up on top & run hard it's pretty smooth. Stuck in the troughs and it can get rough. The 360 sits high in the water so you get significant more rolling side to side action.

We brought the 360 up from the 8MM when we had that one warm day on May 2nd. The lake looked like a busy holiday weekend, boats everywhere. I commented to my wife several times how I don't miss the busy-ness of the main channel down that far, the 360 got rocked pretty good. If you're at the 19MM, crazy as it sounds, I'd tend to agree you may actually need more boat. But, it's the perfect size up where we're at!

Thanks! Congrats to your son!

We're blessed with amazing schools in our district and BV is one of the best. I really like the principal. He's a no BS kinda guy and sets the expectations high.

I loved the blues as well. Right up until I had to drop 5 figures plus on top end rebuilds!
