New boat today

Post by motocrash »

So I was to take delivery on Sunday of a 2019 R5. Of course that didnt go as planned. I ended up needed my gall bladder out on Saturday.

Flash forward to today. The old boat is at the dealer, on its trailer. My 2002 stingray cuddy moves on and I upgrade. Significantly!

So I picked up a 2019 R5 with 137 hours. It was in the rental fleet for a year.

Glass cockpit, seagrass floor, Duoprop.. engine is only the Volvo 300. Overall I am very happy! Still 4 years on warrantee.
So hello from Lake Winnipesaukee NH!

Welcome from the other side of the country.
Sharpe looking and awesome they cut her loose to you with low low hours👍🏼.
Stingray is a fast hull but rough. The riggings And interior on your R series are top tier.
Congratulations!

Stingrays punch above their weight class speed wise, but as Matt said not good in even medium chop. New boat is beautiful, let’s see some pics of the Stingray.
