Fuel pump -whining noise

Just got done replacing mine on a 2013 380 CB. I had full intentions of documenting the process, but the cuss words started flying right away and the documentary went to crap! On the newer models, the fuel pump is behind the coolant tank, which is held by a big bracket, which is obviously totally in the way. Major PITA to complete and nothing like Man Cave's YouTube video where the pump is easily accessible. I'm not Mr. Goodwrench, but handier than most and it took me a full 4.5 hours.

Anyway, got it done. ManCave's pump really looks better than a new one. Very pleased with it. After about 15 primes, engine fired right up. As an aside, I also took the opportunity to remove all raw water hoses (in addition to those going to the fuel pump) and flush them. There was definitely some sand and other sediments in the raw water lines going to the fuel pump, probably from a bad beaching incident last year. Just for that, I feel good about doing it myself and ensuring all was done properly. Put a new impeller in as well.

Also changed the spark plugs, which was a waste a original plugs still looked new, after 300 hours. Will replace all anodes tomorrow, (curious to see what they'll look like - freshwater only) detail and back in water next weekend. I'm beat!
