Adding temporary ladder on R7
My wife wants to keep a temp ladder in the boat for the few times we have a guest that can’t negotiate getting up out of the water on the flip down swim platform. I have been looking online for a solution to be able to attach to the current deck that would drop into the water. I was just curious if anyone is using something they might recommend.

We don't and have never tried but I do have a water trampoline that uses a ladder might work as it has flexible straps on the top but is more ridged on the ladder steps.
Not sure if it would work but would be the first thing I try.

Re: Adding temporary ladder on R7
When we first purchased a new R3 last year, my left wrist was sprained so bad that I had trouble using the flip down step.
I was thinking about all kinds of options, but wrist got better, and I developed a technique that works for old people.
I'll start looking at it again as my wife's parents might want to to out with us. Good luck.

. . .
My wife and I both have had 2 back surgery’s and the hop and twist just doesn’t work. My cobalt dealer thru bolted stainless steel L Bracket and attached a Garlick 4 step dive ladder.

Very cool! How exactly do you deploy it?

We store it in the head compartment. It just slides in bracket. Flips up incase ya forget. Wide steps make it super easy
