Accessories Stopped Working

Lost power.to the the radio and associated glove accessories. Pop-out fuses are fine. I guess I'll have to try and trace the radio circuit back to the cockpit. Had a problem with both the new and the old radio that it would cutout if we hit a wave hard. I thought it was a ground. I guess the problem got worse. Suggestions welcome.

Myself I would get under the helm and start wiggling wires. Did you remove the Panel in the storage compartment to get to your radio? The starboard side had the same panel. Remove that one as well. There is a positive junction block on the side of the hull there. Check the screws that hold the wires going to it to make sure they are tight. Run new ones anyways. Add one that isn't ignition related.

BBP yes the port storage compartment is full of components (Sony is gone), but the starboard still has the carpeting still on the wall (bulkheads) and has not been modified by me... yet. I'll investigate... let you know

FYI - Meant to PM but as a second owner I have a 3-ring Cobalt binder, and in it is a spiral wound catalog containing all the 2004 hulls and their configuration detailed including a simple wiring diagram . Also have a, what looks like is a Cobalt back pack. Also, the previous owner ordered this boat from Cobalt and next the swim deck there is a brass plate identifying the original owners. Not sure if other owners have this stuff?

Yes pretty common stuff you get worth the boat new. Lots of that is online on Cobalts site. Also that brass plate you can remove and contact Cobalt and they might Even make you one. It's pretty cool. Remove that starboard side panel is pretty cool behind there. Amazing things await you.

Took the panel off .. bundle of wires... repeated the problem once ... they took boat out and if it it goes out they will stop the boat and investigate...
