New 2021 25SC Owner

Post by Texanforlife »

Just took delivery of a brand new 25SC. We special ordered late May and arrived this past weekend. Took out on the water for a quick demo yesterday and will be taking it to the lake on Saturday. Looking forward to bringing it into the gulf later this year.

Nice TFL. Thanks for doing that. Loce the color combo too!

How do you plan on using her?.....and get a top quality flag here at tigtech.

Another option on Amazon here to complete the look. :D

Love the boat and the colors. Besides the gulf where do you boat?

Already ordered a flag. Hopefully will have it installed in the next couple of weeks! I’ll leave it to the dealer to install, I don’t trust myself with cutting holes quite yet.

I am moving to the FL panhandle late fall, so a lot of Destin and crab island is in my future. I’ll probably be the lone Cobalt outboard on the central Texas lakes until then. I was close to ordering an R5 but felt the 25SC was a safer choice for Florida.

Such a great color and combo. How did the 300 push her?

Runs really smooth and is up on plane fast. I didn’t go full speed but kept it around 35. The motor is really quiet. In fact I wasn’t even sure it was on while we were in idle.

Welcome and love your choice in color. I agree that the outboard will be better for the gulf. Must be hard to go to pan handle, considering you tag.

I’ll miss TX a lot but having our boat will definitely help! Our wife picked out the color combo. Strangely enough, it looks like Cobalt phased out Ice Blue right after we put in our order. We were a little anxious the color wouldn’t be available when it came time to build her at the factory.

It’s definitely one of my faves too. Sad to see it go. Must not be that popular. I wonder if dreamsicle is next. 🤔😂

Congrats!

Gorgeous boat. If I were to buy a new Cobalt today, that would be the one. Same color too.

I think you made the right choice over the R5 knowing you'd be using it on the salt.

I live ten miles from the coast of NH. We boat on Winnipesaukee, but having a proper ocean boat with OB would be tempting. The 25SC would be the pick.

Say what A7😱
I could talk Rick into bringing back that Dreamsicle at any moment!

I call it baby blue. I personally think it only works down in Florida. That's the only place I would buy it. It's just not manly enough for up here to handle the ice and cold. ❄️😂
Something needs to cool off flordia. It mine as well be a ice blue Cobalt!

Maybe you'll need to wear a bigger watch driving a baby blue Cobalt around.
....or add more engines to feel more manly?
