2008 232/242 Transom Speakers

Thinking about adding adding some transom speakers to my 232 (242 model without the crapper). Wanting to see if anyone has done this and where they put them. Also what size speakers. There is room, just trying to figure out the best location for them.

No, but I have heard of people adding transom speakers to the area beneath the tow pole. Can't be big speakers, but could a couple in there on each side. Surely someone has done this?

When I saw the picture at lunch it looked more curved. That looks flat enough.

Hi, I know this is a little bit of an older discussion but I was thinking of doing the same thing. I have a 2014 232 and the transom looks identical to the one pictured. Just wondered if anyone has put transom speakers in and if they have any pictures? Thank you.

I have transom speakers on my ‘07 232. I’ll be near the boat tomorrow and will snap some pics.
