We’ve never been past Stillwater because the water is usually low and is is an un marked navigation channel. Here are a few pictures of our trip plus a few shots of some boats tied up. Notice the leaves are already changing on a few of the trees... not ready for that!!!
Love the pics as I grew up south of Hudson on the St Croix river and was a lifeguarded in the summers all through college at the old Hudson public beach a couple hundred yards east where the first pic was taken. I spent 70+ days each year for two decades boating mostly between Afton and Stillwater and my sister still has a boat at the St Croix marina.

Definitely not ready for fall!!!!!!

Went out for a afternoon run today. It looks calm but that's very misleading. I found a point to block the waves and wind. The wind was coming from the south and on a 30 mile long lake they build at our end.

Looks like you had nice weather. Hoping to get out this week. I'm not much of a picture taker, but I'll try to play along, since I enjoy others photos so much!

Yes lake looks can sure be deceiving sometimes. We will be on the lake this week. Did you do any swimming?

No we didn't. Water was nicer today then we'd though 79 degrees. But it was only 82. Windy so we really didn't get to hot. It was just a good afternoon run.

Two days in a row on the St.Croix! Two days in a row of beautiful summer weather in MN too!! Today made a quick run from Afton MN where we launch to Prescott WI and just floated on anchor for the afternoon. Not too many pictures but I did take two today.
