R-7 End of production ?

Post by Cctvdc »

Can anyone confirm that Cobalt is ending R-7 production next year ? I have been told this but depending on who I talk to I get opposite options.

With the r8 not even delivered yet they won’t announce the end of sale on the r7. So only time will tell. But a betting man would say 21 will be the last of the r7’s

R8 will be the next R series introduced in spring 2021. I’m sure there will lots of R7 around for sale next summer but I was told, in any event there will be some production overlap with the R8.

I was told by the dealer today that the R7 will most likely end production in 2021. Small chance it goes to 2022. Same with R5, which is being replaced by R6. R8 launch is second week of Sep 2020. Dealers being briefed this week.
