Just wrote the check today for our next boat. So it's time to sell our beloved 232. It's been an absolutely wonderful boat for us, but we can't keep two Cobalts

* 4x Brand new high speed load D trailer tires. Balanced perfectly too

The boat is 23ft 6in from the factory. With the added swim platform it is 27ft 2in

And she is sold as of yesterday. Took less than 3 full days, wow! I guess the boat market really is hot!

We did not leave the Cobalt family. After years of owning SeaRay boats. Then getting this 232. We were hooked on the Cobalt build quality. We looked for 5 months to find a 272 or 282 that was just right for us. But they were mostly in rough shape from owners that did not take care of them. We had our eye on a 292 for a while that was probably too large for us. But finally we decided to take a look at it and fell in love. My wife and I went to see it a few days ago and decided on the spot that it was perfect for us. I will start a new thread for our build/restoration on the 292. Here is a side by side of the size comparison on the 232 vs the 292. It is a massive vessel

There is a massive difference in size. Photos don't do it justice. The 292 is absolutely huge.

My jump up in size was 22’ Malibu to 26’ 262.

These boats are HEAVY! You will no longer push it off the trailer or sand bar. If you come in just slightly too fast, you won’t run up to the bow and stop it. It’s too heavy and your arm aren’t long enough . I’m telling you this only so you don’t get surprised like I did.

We love the legal trailerability beam of our 263 but even that can feel small on the water sometimes. I wouldn't want to pull something larger though as they do feel massive on land.

Definitely! The 232 was a very good size, large enough to tackle most of the choppy water around here, and tons of storage.

Thanks! We don't really have sand bars around here, but getting it on and off the trailer will be interesting. Hopefully will have it nailed down after a few trips.

I was actually a bit concerned about how the drive on land would be when trailering. But I was pleasantly surprised how well our truck pulls it and also how solid it feels on the road. It may be partially due to the 3-axle trailer, but so far so good.
