New Member LOTO 2008 282

Hello all,

I have just purchased my first boat and decided to buy a Cobalt and after reviewing online info from this site decided to buy my second boat first. Was originally looking at "old style" 262 but settled on a 282. The boat is missing the retractable door between the sole and bow. Any suggestions on whether that is a big deal or where to find replacement or how to remanufacture a door are appreciated. Here is a link to a video of the boat on Youtube.

282 is a fantastic model. You’re going to love it!!

We used the door occasionally on our 262. It never rattled.
I saw one on eBay a few months ago.

Tough to source.

I think great. I have only had it out a couple times so far. Twin engines was a little intimidating at first, but the acceleration and maneuverability is amazing.

Welcome aboard! Love the colors. The high freeboard of a 282 is perfect for LOTO. Twins are a huge plus for that hull.

What part of the lake are you on? Our 360 resides at the 41MM.
