Thanks Sliderule, I received my UPS notification that it will arrive tomorrow and I found an umbrella at Lowe's. The only one I could find in DFW.

I'm glad to hear it! I got lucky, actually - UPS's website said their depot was open until 6:15 but when I got there, the sign said they were closed... But they had left the door unlocked by mistake! So I walked in and they reluctantly took the package after hours. I'm glad we were able to take care of you for the TRL regatta. I want pictures for the SRP website!

Made in the U.S.A. and top shelf customer service. Definitely Cobalt worthy addition.

The Sliderule umbrella adapter works great!
Thanks for supplying this quality product to us

Thinking it maybe helpful if someone already has
an umbrella they want to use, the 9' foot Treasure Gardens
shown has a 6' pole and will not stow in either the engine
compartment or the ski locker. We can go to a 7.5 foot
which drops the pole to 5' and should do nicely.

I haven't yet looked into shortening the pole (above the crank)
to see if that is an alternative. But other suppliers apparently
have a 9 foot that will stow.

I love my Sliderule Racing adaptor. I even put an umbrella in it sometimes.

Check out this Suction Cup Grip for a quick non permanent solution. My buddy bought one of these earlier this year for work but uses on his boat too. It’s designed to hold umbrellas and he also uses to hold his flag. It’s very strong and versatile

Hey JR. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

That looks like another nice alternative. Nice how it can be used for other non boating applications too.

Great pics.

Again welcome aboard mate!
