Thank you, thank you. Here is what I selected. Think I am 95% sure on colors.

-Black sides and deck, red stripe
-300Hp Merc, Dealer said I could get the Yamaha but my dealer can't do warranty work
-black rotating sunshade tower
-carmel interior
-bow and aft sun sail
-platinum sound
-led interior and sea grass
-soft trac on deck and gunwale
-flag pole and portal light
-bow cushion and table
-shower and heater with pull out vents
-trim tabs and battery charger
-led storage and compressor
-pillows and soft cooler
-cover and phone charger
- added docking lights and the dealers suggestion

Think that is it. Let me know if I forgot anything for there is still time to change things up. Getting a trailer with the boat and trying to decide if I need a trailer with a folding tongue? Building a garage for the boat and been very hard to figure total distance of boat, motor and trailer. Same with height for the garage door. Anyone with experience on this? Going to see if the dealer can get more accurate numbers from Cobalt.

Folding tongue for sure, if it will even be an option on your trailer. I would "think" you would need a minimum of a 10' door and 12' would be highly recommended. With a rotating shade is a folding tower an option?

Will be on a lake 90% of the time. We have mostly mud/clay bottoms. Very few clean rocky bottom lakes in my area of NC. And about 10% at the beach. Would be a docked type set up. Inner coastal, etc.

Thought about the windlass however the muddy bottom thing. Please note I dont have any experience with one. Would hate to have a muddy anchor on the front of the boat. Im sure I could clean it off but can see it being a hassle getting it clean enough to have the anchor out front on the boat. Figuring with a normal anchor I could store it in a bag or trash bag somewhat dirty. ??

You made me double check! Got a bit nervous. The sport tower as they are calling it doesn't fold. However the rotating arch does. That is the one I went with. Got it over the standard arch because all the videos I watched of the standard R6 (non outboard) had the rotating arch. Seems to have more bimini coverage and looks a bit better in my opinion. Plus the only way to get the sail shade out back. I wanted as much shade as possible when needed.

Let's see if Matt will chime in. He knows how to get them to self clean. Also I could be wrong but I think you can get a hose up there too clean them off?

I think you will need a 12' door with a non-folding tower. We tried getting measurements for our smaller boat on order and couldnt find any, ended up cancelling folding tower as I dont think it will fit in an 8' door.

Boy it would be nice to know but I would think with the folding tower it would fit in the 8ft door.

Nice boat, you will definitely enjoy it. Without a folding tower you will need a 12’ door. I have a 10’ door in my building and I can’t get my R5 in with the bimini up. I am at least 6” too tall but I have a larger than average trailer. Even on my old trailer it wouldn’t fit in by a couple inches. My R5 even with the bimini off will not fit into an 8’ door. The windshield glass is too tall, even on my old EZ Loader trailer. My new trailer is a custom built Loadmaster trailer. I highly recommend them!!!

I am of the other opinion with the folding trailer tongue... if you have the room I vote not to get it. Some trailer manufacturers won’t even put the feature on larger trailers. I had a bad experience with my old one quite a few years ago. We spent the day on the water, and on the way home we stopped for supper, while in the restaurant someone decided they needed the keeper pin more than I did. We came out after supper and I checked the hitch before we left and the pin was gone. I am obsessed with checking my hitch because I pull trailers most every day at work. I know I checked it at the boat ramp and everything was okay. So there I was on a Sunday evening trying to figure out how to get the trailer safely home. Luckily I had my work truck so I had some miscellaneous nuts & bolts in my tool boxes and was able to put bolts in place of the long pin. Needless to say my trailer tongue was bolted solid after that experience. The likelihood of that happening again is rare but I have a 60’ long shed so I will never purposely own a folding tongue again.

I put one of those steel cables with combination lock (like on the spare tire) through the
handles of the pins (two pins) and around the trailer frame on my trailer. There is enough
slack to pull/place them without unlocking the cable.

Someone could still get them off with bolt cutters, but they would have to come prepared...
I rent my dry storage, and the trailer with boat would not fit, if it weren't for the folding tongue.
I'm a fan of folding tongues.

Haven't lost the winch crank handle, yet. Anyone know a way to secure those?
