Oh man. Mine is 1 5/8
I'm being yours is close to that. It's 2 inch or less. Can you get a clamp from 1.5 to 2 inch?
What brand of speakers.

I have a hard time believing the tower is less than 2 inches in diameter?

A7 was size was your tower? They sure look the same. I'm still saying max 2 inches.

That stainless tower on the 260 series and 272 is a beast. At least 3 1/2” diameter. Remember it was a $10,000 option.

3 1/2" sounds more like it. They're definitely solid. How many 272's have you seen with the 262 style docking lights? 😁

My 04 262 is 2 11/16" at the base of the rear tube. Hope that helps. I was needing to know as well. Cover was on so I didn't crawl up there to measure where the speakers will hang but don't think it gets bigger as it continues up and around

Ps, are you mounting them on the smaller diameter cross members? I believe that area is roughly 2" in diameter there.

We mounted ours on the thicker tubes.

Ok you all got me wondering if the rear tube did get bigger so I went back out to measure. CMA, my boat is a 04 262 with what I think is a cobalt SS arch. I measured where tower speakers would normally mount, pic included, and still measured 2 11/16" I'm learning for myself as well trying to help out. I don't get to provide much input to this forum but on this occasion my boat is sitting out back and easy to get to. Hope this helps out.

Thanks C64. Seems more like 3.5” but numbers don’t lie. Great job providing this. 👍
