Want to buy a Cobalt in BC Canada

Greetings from the Okanagan Valley of BC !
Been wanting a boat forever and just got THE important nod of approval ...
Met with a gent who knows boats - brands he mentioned were Cobalt and Searay.
Brand aside, an open bow will work but has to be used to fit the budget.

Various parts of the puzzle (moorage, off-season storage etc) already worked out,
just need a boat for the starring role. Preference is an approx 24-foot with
adequate power, twin prop (Merc 5.7 / Bravo 3 or Volvo counterparts),
pump out head, transom sink, sport tower to use on the Lake here.

Interested in hearing from prospective seller(s) and / or knowledgeable owners
with advice on what to look for and (if applicable) what to avoid.
Covid makes cross-border travel tough so there is that as well ...

Is there a model year in which you are interested.

2000-2007 262 and 263's are phenomenal.

220, 252's and other models in that range are sweet too.

If you want something newer look at the R series. (R5, R6, R7)
Elegant with great rides.

CS series is great too. Are you boating on a big body of water? Will you be doing any water sports? Cruising? Swimming off the back? How many folks will be in the boat normally? Those answers will help narrow the selection.

So what are you typical uses for the boat?
Water sports? Cursing? beaching?
How rough is the water on that lake? A cobalt will ride better than a sea ray but if the lake is normally smooth it won't make as much difference.
