Call or email The Harbor and ask to be put on their regatta email list. They will send out the registration info about 5-6 weeks beforehand.

Ended up getting a local guy to put them in for me. They sound awesome!! Amazing the difference between the Kicker speakers that are in the cockpit and the Wetsounds on the transom.

Very cool. You’ll love those when you are floating behind the boat in a few months.

That looks awesome IK. WetSounds is the bomb for outside the boat audio. 👌

Very nice that's exactly what I have in my boat! Nice choice. 👍How do you have them powered?

2 channel Wetsounds HTX-2 Amp. Right now I still don’t have 2 zones (I have the RF PMX-5CAN head). Would like to have the transom speakers set up as a separate zone, but we couldn’t figure out how to do it. The head unit seems to have the capability of having 2 zones but unclear how to make that work.

Who wired it up?
They had to use the 2nd zone channel rca outputs to the amp.
Then I think you select the source for that channel?

It’s pretty simple really.

We have two amps in our Cobalt connected to our RF PMX5-CAN head unit.

1. One amp (JL Audio M800/8v2) receives six RCA inputs:

Four from the PMX-5CAN Rear Line OUT RCA using a 2to4 splitter adapter
&
Two from the PMX-5CAN Front Line OUT RCA

These control the six speakers inside the boat (4 in the cockpit (rear) and two in the bow (front). The subwoofer gets the remaining two channels in a mono bridged configuration.

2. The second amp (Wet Sounds Sinister SDX4) is connected to the Zone 2 RCA connectors powering our two Wet Sounds tower speakers (685 watts bridged) for outside boat audio. The Zone 2 RCA out is what you’ll use for your transom speakers.

Then use the selector button to select the desired zone and control the volume. Manual here.

Hope this helps.
...and as I always say, enjoy the music powerfully, accurately, and loudly. :D
Cheers. 🍻

Appreciate the input. I pulled the back off the door to the head to get to the head unit. It looks like they wired the amp (which goes to the transom speakers) to the RCA front line out from the head unit. The fader now fades music to either front speakers in the bow/transom, or the 4 cockpit speakers.

It would seem like they should just hook the amp up to the RCA zone 2 out right? Sorry it’s been a long time since I wired a stereo myself.
