Hi All....
I’m back again. Last June I sold my restored ‘85 CM23 to a great local family but after a couple of times out they realized that a pontoon boat would be a better boat for their family’s needs so they have asked me to assist in the sale of the boat due to my knowledge of it.
As a refresher, the boat is powered with a fresh GM 383 Stroker motor and a recently rebuilt Merc Alpha I outdrive. This boat has the center-mounted engine package. I spent 4+ years and over $25,000 doing a restoration/refurbishment of this boat updating much. The hull is in good shape with fresh black bottom paint. The inside is all new or restored. The trailer is in good shape with good tires and brakes replaced last year.
Asking price is $19,500 and offers are encouraged. Anyone interested can PM me here or call me at 916-320-9903.
Thanks
Shawn Murphy

.
I would think it will sell fast Shawn. Going from this classic to a Pontoon will be quite a change. We know which one will turn more heads.

Re: 1985 Cobalt CM23 for sale....again
It was such a nice family that bought it. If not for that I wouldn’t be involved again. They bought it last July and the first time they took it out they got into some shallow water and sucked crushed shell into the cooling system and over heated the motor. They tried to do the repairs themselves and missed some of the shell. At my urging they took it to a shop that was familiar with the boat and had the entire closed cooling system flushed and cleaned. She is now running perfect again with an all clean cooling system and new impellers.AsLan7 wrote: Sun Apr 11, 2021 4:40 pm .

I hope it does sell and someone takes it to Table Rock this year.
