2005 Cobalt 282 with Single 8.1 Gi performance?

Trying to figure out a drive issue with my boat and was just wondering if anyone had the same set up and knew the performance they were getting from the boat?

Bought the boat used with the incorrect gear ratio on the outdrives and was wondering if it was worth changing the lower unit.

I have a 292 with a single 8.2 GSi. It gets up on plane fairly quick and top speed is between 50-55 depending on load and conditions.
