226 Wakeboard towers with bimini tops

Post by NorCal226 »

I have been researching a tower for my 226 and I have found options to choose from. If you own a 226 and have a tower I would like to see your application along with the manufacture name if you know it. Having a bimini top is a must so I would like to see what application you used for the top. Please post your pics along with any info you can provide.
Thanks!

Not a 226. 1998 Cobalt 232 with Monster tower and optional Bimini.

Looks good Idahocowboy. Did you mount it yourself or have it installed? Also looking at the top how difficult is it to reach the tow post and does the rope pull on the top when pulling up a wakeboarder?

I had the dealer install. He ordered it from Monster as there was no shipping charges. Saved some bucks but paid for the install. Make sure you reinforce the brackets in addition to the aluminum backer plate. It is not as strong as other types of towers. I bought it for looks and for the Bimini. Very good quality.
