Why does my r7 shut down with a hard hit

So first time on the water. With a used r7 2014 with volvo and twice when I hit a good sharp wake it just shut off. Restarted easily. I didn't hit the key and it was still on. Nor the emergency shut off.

Well it's time to start checking your power and grd connections everywhere. Start at the engine area. There is a grd bar on the transom. And go from there. And check going to the fuse block back there too.

Is the kill switch loose?

I had the same thing after service being done under the dash. A breaker was loose and grounding out. I zip tied it temporarily and all good.
