Okay, that is officially over the top! You milled grooves in your cup holders? Way cool. The level of detail to your work on all accounts is amazing. Too bad we're not neighbors. Well, that's probably good for you...

Haha! Well, I had a hard time finding RGB cupholders for less than $25 each. These will cost me ~$5 each to reuse the originals. And trust me, I'd much rather have a neighbor that appreciated boats and projects... ;-)

Cupholders are assembled. Not going back into the boat until I don't need to stick my hands through all the holes for wire routing and such, but here's one lit up on my work bench. The leds are from Oznium.com:

Cool project. Love what you did with the motor. I would love to do something similar. Maybe some day.

Great work and detail.

I would love to get your parts list for the engine and some links for some of the engine things you bought like cam, etc. If you don't mind me asking, about how much did you spend to rebuild and upgrade the motor minus the exhaust as mine is good? Someday!

Well, I've been making progress, but not as much that makes for great photos. I've finished the LEDs and mounted the chartplotter/fishfinder and started buttoning up the side panel. The throttle controller install will be finished tomorrow and then I'll start buttoning up the radio and amp install and new electrical 'panel' in the engine compartment. After that's done, then engine will go back in and I'll work on finishing up the engine hatch and vinyl. Oh and the steel and aluminum for the swim platform repairs arrived today, so I'll show more progress there.

Here's a poor video of the RGB lighting in action:

I also 3D printed a new insert for the radio and the new Rockford Fosgate control and input port fits real nice. I'm going to get this cemented in place and then can start reassembling the glove box/bathroom door.

In case you missed it in the other thread, I machined the chartplotter bracket and mounted that to the right of the dash.

I also started the modifications to the switch panels to mount the new radio remote and the O2 sensor and wire the switches for the LED lights and the transom/underwater lights. In the process I decided to wrap the switch panels with some woodgrain Di-Noc since some of the paint was starting to peel. This is mostly an experiment for next year as I intend to completely redo these switch panels next winter.

Well, I worked on the first panel tonight and it came out pretty good. Waiting for the blue led indicator lights to arrive..

Looking great. Always nice to have great machines at your disposal and to know how to use them. Very impressed. What did you use to cover the panels to make it look like wood?

Hi BB,
The material is Di-Noc from 3m. I bought the version called "Rosewood" off ebay. They make hundreds of different designs.
