We are back home after an AMAZING weekend. I don't think there could have been better weather...just hot enough to make you want to float and the water temp was perfect!
And the best news from the day...my buddy did it!!!!!! My 8 year old nephew got up on skis! Super proud of him....he's never watched anyone else ski (he was on another boat tubing yesterday when we all went skiing) but he wanted to give it a go and HE DID IT! Behind the pontoon was a much easier pull for him (thank goodness for those pontoon friends, right Matt?!?!)
I was out in the water with him and after his first pull where he got up and went about 10 ft, he came up and looked at me and said "I did it, I skied". I said YES you did! Now, lets go further this time! 4 pulls and went further each time....last one so far I couldn't swim to him when he fell. So proud of him! Here's a blurry screen grab I pulled from his video.

Great to see all the kids get in on the action.
It was an amazing weekend all around.
Forgot that one of the “pontoons” of the jumbo dog was missing from last year after we popped it. They still rode like champs....while leaning.
Nephew throwing Twizzlers out to the kids while underway. We buy them by the thousands. I should buy stock!!

Awesome pics A7!!! And yes we are all blessed to be able to enjoy this boating hobby!
And Twizzlers are one of our go to lake snacks too! The kids love 'em!

Great pics of the Fireworks TR. Still my first season as a full time table rocker so I just watched them from my deck. I could see big cedar's and Chateau on the Lake's. Even the branson bell was parked out there for the Chateau ones. Looked like the big cedar ones were better and longer. Maybe I will adventure down there for the 4th.
Well thats good to hear...we rolled the dice on which might be best. It was cool...you should do it. The crowd wasnt hard to navigate either. And it was a really nice ride back. Are you headed home? Saw your mooring cover was on.....sigh....

Ill tell you what....after the awful spring we had, this memorial weekend was the nicest i can recently remember. At least for us midwesterners.

Busy weekend that's for sure.
Then we stuffed our niece on the tube with max and his buddy. Time to buy another tube.

Yep had to get back to STL. Wife is a school teacher and has her last day tomorrow due to snow days. But i’ll Be back down Friday.
And it was an amazing weekend. Only thing I can say that kind of annoyed me was all the surfers and tubers hogging up all the good coves. Since it was just the 2 us we couldn’t partake in any water sports.

I agree. Air temp was hot, water temp provide good relief from the heat (and not cold) and next to no wind making our lake about as flat as it gets.

I can't begin to address them individually, but it looks like the CC crew had a great weekend! I didn't get very many pics this weekend. Let's keep it up! Only 90 days or so left for most of us!
