Not sure I'm a fan of this boat. The dash looks like they were cutting corners. And the cup holder cuts over into the Captians leg room making it seem cramped.
Yt that's how cobalt is doing these cup holders on this size boat. It's the extra width interior room. I hate it. Look at the cs1 not sure if the 3 is the same. But it looks like they mold it into the floor. Looks cheap to me.

Cobalt has a euphemism for it:
“Free Space Reclamation”, Cobalt’s exclusive technique for cockpit maximization.

Correct. I like some of it and I don't like some of it. Again my wife loved the storage in the crownline side compartments. Cobalt has none to very little.

The wonky dash and lack of a captains seat for the passenger pushed us from thinking about a 220 to a 210. Pretty happy with our choice.

True. Along with reclaiming space, they are also reclaiming storage. With the surf package, they have reclaimed ALL storage.

How about this one. It's only 10hp less then the one your dealer was showing you. Yes I know they can't sell it to him but just throwing it out there.

These are my 2 options, my dealer has a 17 R3 demo with 18hrs pretty much fully loaded has the arches 300v8 that would be 70kotd or build a 18 cs3 to my liking ard 66k otd.? We where on the R3 yesterday and it is 1 sexy boat? Is their a big diffrence between the 2?

For $4k it's a no brainer. The arch on the R3 the value of the R I would think is more in a r3 then cs3. The cs3 might ride a bit more sportier then a taller r series.
Sounds like your getting more options with the r also. Go for it

By the way where are you going to be boating? I don't mind helping you find a boat. It will be a great first boat
I know of this GREAT 222 that is for sale
Actally we love ours, would make a great starter boat, the 5.7 is plenty of power, there is a ton more room in the bow as compared to the CS3, and you wouldnt feel horrible the first time you put a scratch on it.
Yeah, you should totally buy BBP's boat. Added bonus Katie and I have also sat in it. It's basically been blessed by two members of the forums. What more could you want?
I second this Double-whammy.

BBP, i havent. I went out of state only to be annoyed with broken promises, talked to a million dealers and alot of the, just about all wont sell unless your in their territory respectfully. I have a great dealer 2 miles from my housr and have decided to build a boat with him. He gave me an amazing price on both the "dream builds " i did with him. Pretty much a fully loaded c2 for just under $62k with nj sales tax and $68 for cs3 with 280, arch, fender clips, sea grass, the covers, transom tilt, do i need transom tilt? And dual batterys wirh switch. 68 im alittle stretched because we just built our dream home 3 months ago, and im trying not to have a huge payment my wife is a stay at home mom blah, blah,

i give him the deposit today, thanks for all the help everyone!

Wow. Crazy.glad you are going to get what you want. Transom tilt it's great. Only thing is I wish they would put it on the port side. If you trailer it's allot nicer. Congrats

Congratulations and +1 on the transom tilt switch. Port side would be even better.
