Great view! That is the 1 thing that makes me Jealous about LOTO. Just walk down some steps to your dock. Since TRL is a Core lake you can’t build on the shore line

I think you will catch me rather quickly. Once Summer comes it gets to hot to go on long cruises. So my hours start going down. Plus I’m only a weekend boater. I’ll probably finish the season with 50-60hrs.

Thanks all - we have been so very thankful for this place. It is definitely our "happy place". Five hours to get there is right at the edge of how far I would be willing to drive but once we are there it is non-stop fun. Anxious to get the Cobalt out on the lake and spend the days as they should be, out on the water.

This week we are building a deck on the lot next door (to the right of the house in the pic) as we own that empty lot. Plans are to have that be 10x16 and will have a fire pit with perfect views of the main channel. It will attach to the current deck via a walkway with a couple steps down to get to the platform. They call them "martini" decks at LOTO. Will post some pics when it's done.

Cool and wet in th Texas Hill Country, but a nice weekend coming up. Weekends start on Friday around here.

Happy, happy, day! The ice went out yesterday in our portion of the lake and the entire lake should be ice-free by tomorrow. My next door neighbor sent me this picture from his lakeside deck from yesterday. Now my dock will go in next week and the boating season can begin!!

Great pic! Loce to see the process of the Dock install. How they level it.. walk it out.. be interesting.

Martini deck construction underway. Rain is slowing things down considerably but progress is being made. They don't call it the "Slowzarks" for nothing!
