No Barrett-jackson for this one. I just have to find a su.... I mean somone that wants it as bad as I did!
Tgrace it actually shouldn't be to bad for speakers. You can fish the wire up through the hole from the bottom on tbe starboard side and should be able to run the wire to the top and both sides okay. You'll have to drill into the tower or the spars for the mounts. It's all aluminum though, so I'd be afraid of it pulling though unless you install fender washers on the backs of the mounts, but I'm not sure that's possible.
I got the new swim pad installed yesterday too so now everything matches. My OCD is happy!

So did you redesign the lower platform mat with the angles or was it the same on the original?

Driller it went from a one piece pad to 3 pieces. On the platform.

Thought so, I like the new version better. Frames the Cobalt insignia nicely.

Thanks Driller. To get the grain all running the same direction had to be in 3 pieces. I had them enlarge the logo and drop it a tad. And I wanted the angles to frame it, and it turned out pretty good. They sent a proof before they cut them. A7 they have the templets now! I also replaced the bow and midship pads.

I started my gelcoat repair last night. There is a lot more sanding and polishing to do but it will turn out fine.

Update YT?
Also I put blue tape around the area to cut down on excess paste to sand around the area. Plus it gives you a few mm above the area to make it high so you can sand it down.
Looking good Yt.

Yeah I remember you telling me that but I had so many nicks and bad places in one area I just figured I'd go for the gusto! I think someone must have clamped a board rack to this thing at one time judging by the marks.

It looks great.
This boat in general is one of the best looking Cobalts out there. Had my wife seen this before we bought our current boat we would have been chasing the country for a match
