The umbrella came from hayneedle.com
Did quite a bit of searching on internet looking for one with the 1.375 od that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Website stated 1.375 in specs but was actually 1.41 od. My husband was able to shave it down in order to fit in the adapter. Less than $40.00 including fast shipping.
Adapter came from slideruleracing.com

Got mine at Lowe’s (9’) but took a cheaper umbrella and swapped to bottom sections so it would fit Slides adaptior. I also slid a smaller diamitor poll into the small cheepie to reinforce it so it would not bend. Worked great. Thanks again, Slide!!

Last week we took the R30 from Seattle to Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. For those of you who haven't been to the PNW the San Juan Islands are boaters paradise. Amazing cruising grounds, most of the islands are a national monument filled with many bays and state owned mooring buoys/anchorages. It's about 75 miles run through the Puget Sound and across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It was definitely a great trip and we can't wait to go back.

some pix of the resort. Interestingly we stayed in the "John Wayne Suite" which had some cool pictures of John Wayne when he would stay at the resort. Theodore Roosevelt stayed in the resort twice during his presidency. His signature is in the guest book.

Nice shots bigblockass!!
Is that 13 still on the back. No more rubbing the dock and taking those letters off. Looking sharp.
Is that a picture from the new place? The kids look like they are enjoying it.
The 13 is still there, its a holdover from the law in Iowa about rated capacity. The new letters are holding up nicely. The pics are all from Lake of the Ozarks at our new place..the kids and the wife all loce it! It's been a great thing for us.
