Lookin’ good JM.
In your second picture, is that a tear in the seat at the base of that starboard side cushion?

Yes it is. Those big L shaped seat backs didn’t get refinished yet. Those are going to be super hard to remove. I’ll attempt it this winter.

In other news, my telescoping anchor light broke today. It telescoped out but now won’t go back down. Sounds like it came loose from the boat. I’ll troubleshoot this weekend.

Looks good Judd. ! Stages and she'll be done.

I like my light. It's still working but they have the manual pull up version at innovative lighting. The power ones are discontinued.

They need to be reset if it just comes up but only clicks.
I learned holding your hand 3 inches above the light and turning it on until it contacts your hand with 3 loud clicks, quickly move your hand away and the stops inside the motor will re sync.

Catch that? Hhaaaa. If not call them!

Roger that. It will be interesting to see how you get those seats out. Some of those bolts seem unreachable.

Yes, the telescoping anchor light is a known weak point on that model. In fact, I don’t believe the original manufacturer produces them anymore. :(

Just my luck!! I really like it and would like to keep it working instead of going to the manual one. I will make time to give it a look over this weekend.

Looks good Judd! My light works, but every time it comes on I worry it may be the last. Fortunately I have a light on top of the arch now, so if it goes kaput I won't replace it. But it's cool when it goes up and retracts!

Also, get a bottle of Starbight mold and mildew cleaner and a package of magic erasers, and go to town on your old vinyl. You'll be surprised at how clean and bright you can make them.

yea, I have already done that to the old seats and they came out a lot better than I expected. I was told by two upholstery shops to never ever use magic eraser on them. Breaks down some coating that is on them.

oh and you just have to keep rubbing it in about the arch. sheeeesh LOL

Very true. Bad.
Some have tried the Mcqiures grease remover and works wonders. Just saying.

I just did a deep interior detail. I used Scrubbing Bubbles bath cleaner on vinyl, then Vinyl Sauce, and finished with Condition Sauce. The interior looks like the day we got her!
I did it in sections as to not let the SB sit too long.
The process I used,
Spray SB and let it sit for 1-2 min. Then used a soft brush to scrub down. After that wiped down with a wet micro fiber towel, hosed off from there.
After going around and everything dried. I went back over with the Vinyl Sauce and then the Condition Sauce.

I agree. The good is our detail dept at work is Mequires so I can get some to try. The bad is I need to buy a boat to compare it to. I'm working on that problem.

Hey SB555, I use the same stuff on my leather for my cars- it works great, however I was afraid of stripping off "The protectant on the Cobalt interior". Thought it may be to strong... Just want to make sure it safe. Please advise- fellow 226 owner... Thanks!
