Slide rule I am interested! Not sure how standard these are but bet there is only a few different configurations at most. I have a 2007 212 if that helps?

This would be a great thing. I think the 2007 is very close to my 2003 seats. I don't need them but I'm putting weight on every day. Lol
There are plenty of cobalts out there that do.

Nice offering slide. Wow!

I got panels from Mcleod to repair drop Dow bolsters .

After they wanted year , make serial number etc , they shipped blank plastic so I still had to cut and drill.. sheesh.

"Sliderule fabrication inc." ( has a nice ring to it) :D

So tonight I pulled one of my seats apart to take some measurements and it became quickly clear that my seat base is different than Boatrover's. If Boatrover can share his print with me, then I can make an estimate. If your seat pan is like mine and it's broken, let me know - I can come up with a similar solution though I don't think it requires any turned pieces.

My guess is that Boatrover's seat is the kind with the pouch in the back.. My seats don't have that (wish they did!). If I'm not mistaken, those were introduced in 2005?

Oh, and thanks! Now I've discovered a new place I need to clean... ;-)

Mine does have the pocket on the back of the seat and one is definitely broken. Going to be a few weeks before I can get back out to the lake though. We have a Disney Vacation coming up but I am definitely interested in a fix. 😄

No thunder being stole from me, I wish I had the equipment to make the parts. Yes my seats do have the pouch on the back of the seat.

BB, is it possible your seats got swapped for newer ones at some point along the way? I was pretty sure that the pouch backed seats didn't come out until 2005... At least in the 250's, none of the 2004's have that style seat..

He probably forgot that he swapped them with one of his other fifty-eleven boats that he's had in the last 5 years.

Lmao. Nauti you are rare form and i know what your doing. Lol

Yes mine are out of a 2010.!!!
No just kidding mine don't have the back pocket but the same seat pan on the bottom. So does bfuns 2003. I've cleaned enough of these seats to know what they look like. No one thinks of cleaning in there. Everyone looks like yours does. It's gross

Hey folks, I've priced out the aluminum and estimated the shop time and if anybody would like a kit similar to the one Boatrover, I think I can do them for $125 shipped per seat. If you're interested, feel free to reach out via pm.

Boatrover- when you installed the metal plate to repair your bolster seat did you have to restaple any of the fabric?

No. The plate mounts to the seat base and the cushion sits on the plate. Screws go through the plate to mount the cushion.
