I was also considering buying one.
That piece probably cost the dealer around $600.00. I’m sure it’s made using Sunbrella fabric and a quality HD frame. Quality umbrellas are not cheap. I think I paid $4,500 for eight 7’ wide umbrellas for our outdoor food trailer.
It is very disappointing that there isn’t a color option and no logo.. WTF Cobalt...
The attractive part would be the threaded mount.
I wonder if that part is available by itself.

Here's my stab at a crude drawing. I'm an IT nerd by trade - not a machinist or ME - so apologies for being a bit sloppy.
Judging from the pylon measuring itself, it looks like they used mostly imperial units. So all of those numbers are in inches.
However, the hole for the umbrella button/lock measured best in metric so those measurements (placement and diameter) are in millimeters.
Not shown is the inside diameter which is 1.375" (1 3/8). I also didn't measure the pitch of the threads because I always screw (pun) that up. It appears to be a standard size thread/bolt that is welded in to the lower cap (see pic). I'm guessing you can get that from your ski pylon.
Hope this helps!

Nice work Tbully. Will the umbrella fit in the ski locker?

Thanks.
Yes. Easily. My only concern there is mold/mildew as it isn't a dry storage compartment. So that'll have to be monitored.

is it made out of sunbrella material? Or can you even tell?

I'm not sure what that is. It just looks like a normal umbrella to me. I'll try to get the name of it later. But, when I looked them up, they were just a normal pool and patio furniture provider.

Thanks T, you've provided good info on this. I appreciate it. If its not a premium material of some kind shame on cobalt for charging that damn much for something so simple. I mean charging $1200 for a table, maybe I can get because it has several mounts, teak hardware, etc. and that is still a super stretch but this umbrella thing is just nuts.
In reality I guess all you really need is that base and the umbrella itself seems interchangeable. I need a machine shop guy to come our rescue! I'll pay! just not $900

I used to work with a machine shop back in the day that would knock this out for me for $100 on a slow Friday. They are out there.

Haha!
I'm open to the idea if there is enough interest.
