big block - sorry for the delayed response... been crazy busy the last week.

Problem is my bow cushion don't flip up for storage - theres a little pocket underneath them that you access from the side. Hard to explain without pics.

I think I understand what your saying. Depending how you use the bow. You might end up leaving the filler cushion in all the time and you gain ask the storage under that now. We carry a big thing that hold our towels and crap and coolers and just slide them under the cushion now. First time I've ever had one and it was very nice. And yes cheese balls are on the boat. Lol
Also that is two 18 year olds and a 12 year old up there. Just added alot of sq footage.

That's a great picture to show what a filler cushion in the bow can do for usability. Nice work, Big Block.

Here's a shot of my bow - it's different. Has the little cubbies that you access from the side as opposed to flip up so no lip...

I am restoring a 1987 Cobalt 21BR and wonder if they ever made one of these cushions for this boat. Anyone know if they did? Any suggestions on how I might get one?

I just had a upholstery shop make one. Pretty easy to do.

They did make a filler cushion for the 21BR, but if your boat doesnt already have it, then you will have to have it made. there should be teak "runners" along the side of the bow alley way, this is where it would sit.
