You guys are harsh. OK, so I remember now. Yes it's me....or was me. John found me on the Sea Ray Forum. Back then I had just moved to Louisiana and was using a old laptop that died. And at the time the site didn't impress me too much. Much better now.

So if John is listening you can delete this account.

Not harsh just having fun. I found it when I was looking for my new member post I don't know now if I ever did it correctly as t550000 pointed out I posted in another member's thread back then. It was funny I saw the back of your boat with the name on it when I was flipping through posts and I said wait I know that boat.lol it's fine to me keeping this one rolling it's a new you :-)

No harm done. I'm pretty thick skinned. Just bustin' y'all's chops. When I first saw this forum I was not too impressed and then I had to concentrate on a cross-country move and this site was located on a laptop that bit the dust shortly after so....out of sight, out of mind. Happy to be here. As a former Sea Ray owner I've been a member of that forum for over 10 years. That's where John found me.

Late last year I was alerted to the Club Cobalt Forum (clubcobalt.net) and joined that and then became one of two administrators. Over 300 members there but damn near zero activity right now. But I like the software format better. Wish we could find a way to merge the two. We certainly don't need both of them.

Hey Shawn. I can definitely relate to your frustrations in regard to any vibrant Cobalt forum....especially for the past 5 years. I know I was disappointed when one forum converted over to Facebook...which I don't do. It was mostly about just listing boats for sale.

Even here it was slow to start when I joined in late July, 2017. I give credit to the original CChat members who kept plugging away since our site's birth, January 6, 2015. They kept the faith. 8-)

Now, the change I've seen on this forum in my short time as a member has been, to say the least, almost exponential.

We are certainly happy to have you back here. Great to know you have admin talents as well! :D
