I'm a little bit interested in Connelly's Big Daddy and the HO Hovercraft. I wonder if anyone here had ever seen them in person or ridden them. They're slalom skis with a very wide body for big people, smaller boats, slower riders.

Man, this thread was from week one of the website, when it was just me essentially "blogging" about my boat since there wasn't anyone else here. Now I'm married and have a kid who hopefully will one day ski on the skis I posted about

Eh, sorry about that. I may have thought at one time that managing thread content closely would help make the board more relevant/useful, but I was probably mistaken. It seems to have done well enough finding its own path.
