Just a question, suggestion, respectfully..
I am wondering why your contractor didn’t build the site level first? Removing soil/clay, then installing gravel base and compacting it before building commences. Bringing the building site up to grade first and foremost is the most critical job to the entire project, and requires heavy machinery.
Installing metal will only create another obstacle, and will be prone to damage if basic site work isn’t complete. . It is also more cost effective to run all utilities and drainage while the site work is complete.
Maybe building approaches are different in your part of the country.

I am guessing thirty 10 wheelers loaded with gravel to bring the floor, and four foot outside of the posts up to grade.

I was wondering the same thing. I understand pole barn construction and how you can go in afterwards to pour a floor or spread gravel or leave it bare. But I would think you would want a level pad first? Just curious as we all learn different techniques from around the country as to the why's and what fors.

Main overhead door is 12'.

Looks great! Glad you went with the 12’ door. You won’t have to drop your tower or Bimini.
A 14ft door would be great for RV with roof air as they tend to be 12.-13ft. Just a FYI Incase your planning future storages.
