My first YouTube video, along with apple editing and canned music.
This past summer while plans for the boat were interrupted by a rough lake, we went to American side of Niagara Falls for the afternoon. I’ve been there a hundred times, and each time is still like the first. You just can’t get over the beauty or the thunder of the water.
The one thing that I have to convey.. you can get literally a foot away from the edge of the Falls from Goat Island on the American side. You haven’t “seen everything” without a visit to western NY and Niagara Falls. https://youtu.be/wRl3N3g9fQ0
My younger sister lived in Niagara for 5 years and of course we had to see the sites on while visiting. Amazing to see in real life. And yes I was so shocked you could get that close to the waters edge!

I've never been there. Soon. I didn't relize the water was that clean. That's beautiful.
The best “Water Falls” related activities are on the American side. Cave Of The Winds is a must do, it’s a brain crusher to take in all of that water falling from above.. Maid Of The Mist is also a must. It’s amazing how close you get to the center of the horse shoe.
The best overall views, commercial street walking and entertainment are on the Canadian side. Bring your passport.
