Welcome from a former Seattleite now living in the New Orleans area. I was born and raised in Seattle and did a lot of my boating out of the Des Moines Marina. Gig Harbor was often a destination and I remember spending many afternoons and evenings at the Tides Tavern in Gig Harbar.
Cobalts are great boats and you will enjoy the Sound AKA Boater's Paradise. You also have a perfect boat to take to Lake Washington during Sea Fair to watch the Hydroplane races in August. From the log boom or even just anchored at the South Turn is a blast.
